Good news for all the selfie lovers! The software giant Adobe will soon be launching AI-powered Photoshop Camera App. Currently the app is available to Android and iOS device users in the form of limited preview. Sensei is Adobe’s AI platform and the camera uses the same for recognizing the subject in photos. The subject varies, right from selfie, landscape to food. After recognition, the camera suggests the image filters to be applied. Depending on the user’s choice, the filter can be applied to the images taken by from the camera roll or in real time on the screen. Though the filters created by select artists are available on the app, users are also allowed to create the same of their choice.
This new feature by Adobe makes image editing easier for layman users. Abhay Parasnis, the chief technology officer of Adobe, explained to The Verge – users need to get over learning when powerful photo editing apps like Lightroom and Photoshop are there to help. While announcing the app, Parasnis was quoted as saying to the blog post that “We built Photoshop Camera as a Sensei-first app on our journey to expand our focus to deliver creative tools for everyone.”
The powerful AI-powered tool will be manipulating reality in best possible manner and Adobe is fully aware of this fact. To take care of the content authenticity, the Adobe will be announcing the new initiatives at Max design conference.
The App will officially be launched in the year 2020.
