Trump-sided automakers boycotted by California in worsening emissions fight

A new strategy is being used by the California i.e the boycott for pushing back against automakers that are on the side of the Trump administration in the war over the regulation of tailpipe emissions of the state.
In the previous week, Gov. Gavin Newsom made an announcement stating that the state would be stopping purchasing vehicles from Toyota, General Motors, Fiat Chrysler, as well as, other automakers who have sided with the administration of Trump in seeking to strip the authority of the state for setting its own standards of greenhouse gas emission. On 20th November, the California Air Resources Board passed a statement saying that its board members, as well as, the staff would be cutting ties with those automakers who aligned with the American President in a different way, by not making to the L.A. Auto Show for the first-ever time in over fifty years.
